Tuberculosis and Thorax follows the guidelines provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) for dealing with scientific misconduct.
Some of the scientific misconducts are as follows:
• Falsification of data.
• Plagiarism.
• Improprieties of authorship.
• Violation of generally accepted research practices
• Redundant publication and duplicate publication
All allegations of scientific misconduct are taken very seriously. The manuscript review process will be halted until these allegations have been investigated and resolved.
